How to add a hyperlink in Excel on PC?
Here are the steps to add a hyperlink in Excel.
Step 1: Open the spreadsheet and then click on the cell where you want to insert the hyperlink.Step 2: Click on the Insert tab at the top of the screen. Step 3: Click on Links and then check the link from the drop-down menu. Step 4: Click on the Insert Link option from the bottom of the menu.Step 5: In the next window, select the link, either from the Browsed pages, Current Folder or Recent files option.Step 6: When you are done, click OK to add the hyperlink to the desired cell.
Similarly, if you want to add a link of some document stored on your computer by searching the file from the search option at the top-right if you want to hyperlink within the document itself, go to Insert > Link > Insert Link > Place in this document. Here, select the cell reference and then click on OK.To add an email address, go to Insert > Link > Insert Link > Place in this document > E-mail address. Then, add the email that you want to hyperlink to the cell. You can alternatively use the shortcut for the process mentioned above: Ctrl + K.

How to insert a hyperlink in Excel on a smartphone?
Here are the steps to insert a hyperlink in Excel on the smartphone.
- Select the cell where you want to add the hyperlink and then tap on the upward arrow button at the bottom right.
- Select the Home button and then tap on Insert option from the drop-down menu.
- Now, tap on the Link option.
- Enter the link of the website that you want to hyperlink.
- After that, click on the tick mark at the bottom to confirm the changes. You will see that the text, where you have inserted the link is now blue.

How to remove a hyperlink in Excel on PC?
To remove the hyperlinks in Excel, follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Right-click on the cell where you had inserted the hyperlink earlier.Step 2: Select Remove hyperlink from the drop-down menu. Or, you can go to Insert > Link > Insert Link. After that, click on the Remove link option on the window. Also read: How to shade alternate rows or columns in Excel?
How to remove a hyperlink in Excel on a smartphone?
To remove the hyperlink from the excel cell in a smartphone, tap on the cell where you have inserted the hyperlink and then tap on Remove link option as shown in the screenshot above.
