Apple Store online will launch in India on September 23 and will allow the company to offer its full range of products including trade-in programs, custom-configuration of Macs, among several others, to one of the largest potential electronic consumer markets.
Apple’s online store will also provide support directly to customers across the country. Students will also receive a discount on Mac, iPad and accessories.
The store will also offer signature gift wraps and personalised engraving on select products, including engravings for Airpods in English, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. Engravings for iPad and Apple Pencil will also be available in English.
“We know our users are relying on technology to stay connected, engage in learning, and tap into their creativity, and by bringing the Apple Store online to India, we are offering our customers the very best of Apple at this important time,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People.
Apple Store online will also have specialists dedicated to help customers configure their Mac or setup a new device. Customers can also solicit advice regarding Apple products in English and Hindi.
The Cupertino-based tech titan is also offering free online ‘Today at Apple’ sessions in October. As the pandemic continues, Apple will also be providing contactless delivery.
“We’re proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities.”
