There are numerous ways to get around geo-restrictions that companies put in place. Perhaps the most common and easy one is to simply use a VPN. However, in case you’re trying to jump past geo-restrictions on a PS4, changing your region on the PS4 itself might just be a more reliable solution.

In this article, we’re talking about how you can change your PS4’s region.

So the thing is, you can’t quite change the region on your PSN ID, as Sony doesn’t allow that. We’re going to have to make a new account. When you do make a new one, you won’t be able to access any of your games from the old account.

Content on the Playstation Store is geo-restricted to some extent. While you may be able to access games in another region, the DLC content is region locked. Here’s what you need to do.

Step 1: Head over to your power options.

Step 6: Click Sign up now.
