Launched in 2008, Soundcloud has emerged as one of the largest music sharing and streaming platforms with over 34.2 million users (as of March 2018), in USA alone, with artists like Post Malone and Kehlani, among several others, gaining popularity as well as demos and podcasts gaining traction.
Since the platform is free-to-use and houses a plethora of music talent, it has also picked up globally, and new artists are trying to break through the millions of users looking for good content. If you’re an artist, it’s essential to have your username and name on the platform mentioned accurately to make sure the people who love your tracks can find you on the web otherwise.
Soundcloud’s support page isn’t as helpful since it’s offline often, so here is a short and simple guide to help you change your username and name on Soundcloud in three easy steps.
