The speed of the game in Among Us is one of the most important factors to determine how much fun the gameplay is going to be and in this article, we’ll discuss how to change the speed of players in Among Us.

Changing player speed in Among us

Launch Among Us on your Android, iOS, Windows or Mac device and follow the steps mentioned below to change your name in the game.

Step 1: On the homepage of the game, select your preferred mode — Local or Online. The following steps are the same for both the modes.

Step 2: Now click on the Create Game button below Host. As mentioned above, you can only change the game settings, including the speed of the game, for a lobby that you host.

Step 3: Move your character to the laptop placed towards in the lobby and you’ll see that the Use button in the bottom-right corner changes to Customize. You can either click/tap on the computer or the Customize button to access the settings.

Step 4: On the Settings window that pops-up, click/tap on the Game tab towards the extreme right and scroll down until you find the Player Speed option.

To increase the player speed, click/tap on the Plus (+) icon to the right of the value input to the right of the option; click/tap on the Minus (-) icon to decrease the players speed in your game.

You can also customise more game controls using the same menu and can even change the colour of your character, don a hat, or customise your appearance further with a pet or a skin (both require in-game purchase).
