Instagram is a popular social media platform where the users interact primarily through pictures. Delete comments on Instagram (PC)

Here are the steps to delete comments on Instagram via the website on PC.

Step 1: Go to the post where you have commented or to your post where you want to delete the comment.Step 2: Hover the mouse on the comment and then click on the three-dot button on the right of the comment. As you can notice in the screenshot below, there is a three-dot button on the comment that is highlighted.

Step 3: Here, you’ll see three options — Report, Delete and Cancel. Click on Delete to remove the comment. Remember, you can delete only your comments on other’s Instagram post. Whereas, you can delete other’s comments on your post.

Delete comments on Instagram (Android and iOS)

If you are using the Instagram app on your mobile device, then follow the steps given below to delete the comments.

• Go to the post where you want to delete the comment.
• Tap the speech bubble or View all x comments, where x is the number of comments in the thread. Check the first screenshot.
• Now, tap on the comment and then tap on the dustbin/trash icon at the top right of the screen. Check the second screenshot.

To undo the deletion, tap quickly on the Undo button that will appear on the bottom-right after you have deleted the comment.
