WazirX is one of the most popular and easy to use cryptocurrency exchanges at the moment. Users can add money or crypto to their WazirX wallet and use it to trade other cryptos as and when they see fit.
However, follow this guide if you decide that you’re done with the crypto hype and want to delete your WazirX account.

Deleting WazirX account
Before we start deleting your WazirX account, keep in mind that account deletion is a permanent action.
Once your request to delete the WazirX account is processed, trading and withdrawal-related activities will be restricted in your WazirX account. Another thing to keep in mind is that once your account is deactivated, you won’t be able to use the same phone number, email address and KYC details for another WazirX account.
So before you delete your account, we recommend you close all open orders and withdraw your funds either to your bank account or to any other exchange or crypto wallet. Once you’re done, we can get started with the account deletion process.
Since WazirX doesn’t have a dedicated account deletion option, you will have to go through their customer support form to submit a request for account deletion. Here’s how.
Step 1: Log in to WazirX, click your account avatar and select Account Settings.
Step 2: Head over to Privacy Control and click on Contact Us.
Step 3: You’ll be redirected to WazirX’s customer support site. In the chatbox that shows up, click Account Management.
Step 4: Now click Account Deactivation.
Step 5: WazirX will then ask for your name; go ahead and type it as a message and send.
Step 6: You’ll be asked to provide your registered email ID to receive a support OTP to start the session. Proceed as asked.
Step 7: Select Others from the new list of options.
Step 8: You’ll be asked to give a reason to close your account. Go ahead and send the message.
Step 9: You’ll see a warning message detailing what will happen if you delete your account. Go ahead and select Yes to proceed.
And that’s all you need to do to delete your WazirX account.
