Disabling Linux on Chromebook

Disabling Linux involves removing the Linux installation from your Chromebook. This process will also delete all files and applications associated with the Linux environment, so ensure you have backed up any essential data before proceeding.

Step 1: Click on the Time at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Scroll down the sidebar and click on the About Chrome OS option and then on the right side scroll down and click on the Linux development environment option available under the Developers section.

Step 3: Now, click on the Remove button available beside the Remove Linux development environment option.

Step 4: A pop-up box will appear, click on the Delete button to confirm your action.

Disabling Linux on a Chromebook is straightforward. You navigate through settings and initiate a removal procedure.
