Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are online services where the user can create documents, spreadsheet and presentation with cross-platform compatibility. However, issues arise when you have no internet connection.

Edit Google Docs, Sheets and Slides offline on PC?
You can use and edit Google Docs, Sheets and Slides offline using their respective extensions on Google Chrome browser.
Here are the steps to use the services offline:
Step 1: Go to Google Docs offline extension on the chrome web store and then install it by clicking on Add to Chrome. Remember, not to use the Incognito Mode of Chrome browser while adding the extension. Step 2: Now, sign in with your Google Account and then select the square box at the top.
Step 3: After that, choose Google Docs from the dropdown menu options.
Step 4: On the main screen of Google Docs, click on the hamburger icon (three horizontal bars) at the top left of the screen.
Step 5: Select the Settings option from the menu.
Step 6: Turn on the toggle button to the right of Offline and then click on the OK button.
You will see a Setting up offline message on the bottom left of your screen. Remember, if you turn on the offline access on Google Docs, the rest will automatically be available offline.
Now, you can open Google Docs, Sheets or Slides to work offline. You will see that the documents are in a list form and not in the usual thumbnail pattern. Also, you can only edit documents that are highlighted in bold and not the ones that are faded. The faded ones are for viewing only.

How to make specific files available offline?
You can manually select which files to download offline. Before continuing, open Google Docs, Sheet or Slide on your device.
Step 1: Select the file, sheet or presentation that you want to store offline and then click on the three-dot button on the bottom right of the file. Step 2: In the dropdown menu, turn on the toggle beside Available Offline.
When the file has been selected for offline mode, you will see a tick mark on that file.

How to edit Google Docs, Sheets and Slides offline on Android?
To use Google Docs, Sheets and Slides offline on Android, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Open Google Docs, Sheets or Slide app on your device.
- Now, tap on the three-dot button at the bottom of each file.
- From the menu, select Make available offline.
