Cloud computing service provider, Fastly, used by Github, Shopify, Kickstarter, Yelp, Imgur, The Guardian, Wired, Business Insider and several others, is currently facing an outage, due to which its customer’s sites aren’t accessible and are returning server errors.

Fast began investigating the issue at 9:58 UTC on Tuesday, and at the time of publishing this report, the company continues to investigate the Global CDN disruption issue.

Most of Fastly’s customers (listed below) have been affected, and their websites are returning a 503 or 504 error, among others.

Update: Fastly says that the global outage on Wednesday was caused due to a software bug that was due to a valid customer configuration change. The company has deployed a bug fix.
