How to find your iPhone’s IMEI number?

How to find your iPhone's IMEI number via Settings and code?

Every device has a unique IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity), which is used to identify that device. These are found in GSM, WCDMA, iDEN and satellite phones. While traditionally phones have had only one IMEI number, but with the recent trend of dual-sim smartphones as well as feature phones, several devices have two IMEI numbers.

IMEI numbers are used by network providers to identify valid devices as well as aid in tracking phones in case they’re stolen. So, it’s always recommended to note down the IMEI number of your device.

However, if you’ve misplaced the box or the IMEI number has gotten scratched off, here we’ve put together a simple guide to help you find the IMEI number of your iPhone via Settings or dialling a code.
