How to save images from a webpage on a Chromebook?

If you want to save images from a Chromebook webpage, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Right-click on the image that you want to save, then in the dropdown menu, click on the Save Image as option. If you have a Chromebook with a touch screen, then you can tap and hold the image and then in the menu, tap on Save image as.

Step 2: The image will be saved in the Downloads folder by default. But you can change the Image name and location while saving the image. You can save it to Google Drive or external drives or create a new folder to save the image.

After you finish, click the Save button to save your image.

Step 3: A download complete box will pop up; in the pop-up box, click on Show in folder.


How to copy and paste images on Chromebook?

You can copy and paste images from a webpage to notepad, photo editor or any other app. To do that, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Right-click on the image you want to save and then in the dropdown menu, click on the Copy image option. The image will be saved on the clipboard.

Step 2: Now, open the app or document where you want to paste the image, right-click on the place where you want to paste the image and then, in the dropdown menu, click on the Paste option.


How to save images by taking a screenshot of the image?

Another way to save images is by taking a screenshot of the image. Some web pages do not allow the saving of images and content on their page; here, you can use the screen capture tool to take a screenshot, crop it and save it.
