- Disable the Show Activity Status slider.
How to turn off active status on INstagram’s website?
If you’re using Instagram in a web browser, follow these steps.
Step 1: Open Instagram, login, click on your profile picture in the top right and click Settings.
Step 2: Head over to Privacy and Security and uncheck the Show Activity Status checkbox under Activity Status.
