14 notable tech products announced at CES 2020

CES 2020 kicked off for general public on Tuesday, after two days of media-only exhibitions and announcements in Las Vegas with over 4,000 exhibiting including 1,200 startups. The event saw major tech players announcing various gadgets and services. From gaming laptops to smart home applications and sustainable cars, CES showed us a glimpse of the future.

One of the major announcements came from Google at CES 2020, where they announced multiple features on the Google Assistant, giving the users more control over the devices. Alongwith that, Google also announced a new privacy feature through which the users can tell Google to forget the data that they feel is private.

With the Scheduled Actions feature, the users can turn on/off the devices with just a voice command. Google also plans to add a speech technology which will enable the users to listen to any long-form article in 42 languages including Hindi, German or Spanish.

Here is a list of notable products that were announced on the first two days of CES 2020.

  • Samsung: Unveiled Ballie, a ball-sized intelligent robot which can help around in your smart home, majorly as a housekeeper that works in tandem with other smart devices and gets menials tasks done.
  • OnePlus: The flagship killer also unveiled a new concept phone — called Concept One — that they’re making in collaboration with Mclaren, which features a disappearing rear camera.
  • AMD: AMD revealed the world’s thinnest laptop processor — Ryzen 4000 Series.
  • Intel Corporation: Expanded their chipsets by announcing the latest Tiger Lake chip.
  • LG: LG released two TV models — LG Signature OLED 8K (OLED) and LG 8K NanoCell (LCD), promising a Real 8K UHD viewing experience.
  • Monster: Revealed the MultiLink Bluetooth technology which enables several devices connected via Bluetooth to play audio in sync.
  • Qualcomm: The company debuted its Snapdragon Ride autonomous driving platform.
  • Sony: Sony unveiled its future electric car concept — Vision S.
  • Valeo: Valeo showcased its autonomous, electric delivery prototype — Valeo eDeliver4U.
  • Bosch: Showcased Vivascope, a smart device that can be used in the medical industry.
  • Panasonic: Unveiled the HZ2000 OLED TV with UHD Alliance Filmmaker mode.
  • Royole Corporation: The company showcased the Mirage Smart Speaker with a built-in Alexa support and 8 inches AMOLED touch display.
  • TCL Corp: Unveiled the Vidrian mini-LED display technology offering better performance and lighting.
