OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to launch in January 2022

OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to launch in January 2022

OnePlus founder Pete Lau announced that the company’s next flagship would be launching in January via a post on the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo. Lau, however, didn’t mention a launch date, just the fact that we’ll be seeing the phone in January.

The company’s next phone is rumoured to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, alongside 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256GB storage. A 5000 mAh battery and 80W fast charging are also in the talks.

Another thing that Lau confirmed was the fact that the phone will feature an LTPO display, meaning the screen’s refresh rate can vary between 1 to 120Hz depending upon usage to conserve battery. The phone is expected to have a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display going as high as 120Hz.

The cameras are expected to be similar to last year’s OnePlus 9 Pro, continuing the Hasselblad partnership with a 48MP main, 50MP ultrawide and an 8MP 3x telephoto lens. The front gets a 32MP hole-punch selfie camera positioned in the top-left.

This will also be the first OnePlus line of phones to feature the new combined OS merging OnePlus’ OxygenOS and Oppo’s ColorOS.
