Epic Games says that Apple will be disabling ‘Sign-in with Apple’ feature for Fortnite on Friday. Epic Games account owners who used Apple’s sign-in feature will need to update their email and password to be able to login after the feature is disabled.
Users can login to their Epic Games account with their Apple ID, head over to the General Settings page and update their email address.
If the ‘Sign-in with Apple’ option doesn’t appear, users can still click on the ‘Contact Us’ button on the Settings page to request a manual recovery of your Epic Games account. Keep the email ID registered with Epic Games account handy to receive the verification code for manual recovery.
Users who used Apple’s sign-in feature will also need to set up a password for their account. To do so, they’ll need to login to their account using the Apple ID, head over to the Change your Password page and enter a new password.

Last month, Fortnite was removed from Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store after Epic released a direct payment option in-game that bypassed the respective app store’s billing policy.
Both Google and Apple charge a 30% fee on sales made on apps that are downloaded through the respective app stores, including in-app purchases. Epic had planned to pass on the savings to the gamers by lowering the prices of items across its in-game store.
The game is still available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac and GeForce Now, however it’s uncertain if and when it’ll make a return to Android.
