Once you have the app and logged into the same, you can follow these steps to connect to your Chromecast

Connecting Spotify to Chromecast using your browser
If you don’t want to clutter your PC with apps, you can use your browser to connect it to your Chromecast and stream your music using the same. To use your browser to stream music follow these steps.
This method can be only used on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome
Step 1: Open the Spotify web player in your browser by clicking here.
Step 2: Click on the three dots menu icon on the top-right corner and go to More tools > Cast media to device.
Step 4: Click on the casting device you want to stream on in the new pop-up that shows up.
