Step 1: Open the Zoom program and click the settings gear icon in the top-right.
Step 2: Head over to Backgrounds & Filters and select Blur under Virtual Backgrounds.

Blurring backgrounds on the Zoom app
If you’re on the Zoom mobile app, you can blur the background of your video only when you’re in a meeting. Follow these steps.
- Join a meeting and tap More in the bottom right.
- Select Background and Filters.
- Under Backgrounds, select Blur and you’re good to go.
Do keep in mind that Zoom syncs settings between the desktop and the phone app provided you’ve logged into both using the same account. In such cases, if you set a background on the desktop app it’ll automatically apply to the phone app as well.
