How to add a link to Facebook story?

Facebook is one of the most popular social media platforms around at the moment. In addition to letting people post text status and photos or videos, the platform also lets users share stories that automatically delete themselves after 24 hours. 

In this article, we’re taking a look at how you can add a link to your Facebook stories.

Links in Facebook stories

There are a number of ways you can add links to your Facebook stories. 

You can use a share link to add links to your Facebook stories. Just open a browser on your phone or PC and paste the following link into the URL tab. 

https://m.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=yourlinkhere

Make sure to replace the yourlinkhere part with the link you want to share. Once you press enter. You’ll be redirected to Facebook’s share page. If you’re not logged in, you’ll be asked for your credentials. From here you can share the story with the link you added.

Using YouTube

If you’d rather share a YouTube link, follow these steps on either your phone or PC. 

Step 1: Head over to YouTube and open the video you want to share. Once there, click the Share button.

Using Whatsapp

You can also use Whatsapp to share stories on Facebook with links.

  • Open Whatsapp and head over to the Status tab.
  • Tap the pencil icon to create a story.
  • Type in your text and the link and press the Send button.

  • Once the story is posted, you’ll see a Share to Facebook Story option. Tap it to proceed.
  • You can now share the story on Facebook with the link.
