  • You can start the screen recording before or after picking up FaceTime. Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to access the Control Center.
  • Tap on the Screen Recording icon. The screen recording will start after the countdown.
  • To record the audio, long press the Screen Recording icon after the countdown and then tap on the Microphone icon.
  • To stop the screen recording, access the control centre and tap the Screen Recording icon.

To screen record the FaceTime call on Mac, follow the steps below. You can start the screen recording before or after picking up FaceTime.

Step 1: Press Control + Shift + 5 to open the screen capture tool.

Step 2: In the capture tool, click Options and select the Microphone option to record the audio. You can use various options available on the menu.

Step 3: From the capture tool, you can choose whether to record just the FaceTime screen or the whole screen.

Step 4: After you are ready, click on the Record button.

Step 5: Click the Stop icon in the top menu bar to stop and save the screen recording.
