Here are eight fixes you can try out.
Check internet connection
This is a good time to check whether or not you have an active internet connection. If youโre on WiFi, make sure youโve got an active link and that there are no signal issues. On cellular data, ensure itโs enabled and youโre getting good network coverage.ย
Restart your router
Power cycling your network equipment is the fix to more issues than you can think. More often than not, connectivity issues can be caused by an underlying bug in your router and can be fixed by rebooting.
Enable/Disable VPN
Another possible cause for the issue could be that youโre using a VPN. Many websites like streaming services are geo-restricted due to content copyright issues, and using a VPN can cause problems with their functionality and content availability causing the error.
Alternatively, if youโre trying to access the site over your schoolโs or officeโs internet network, chances are theyโve blocked access to the site. You can try a VPN to see if you can get around any such blocks. Using a VPN also gives you a new IP address, meaning you can circumvent any problems caused by your IP address getting accidentally blocklisted.
Disable any firewalls
If youโre using third-party firewalls, nowโs the time to disable them to see if theyโre blocking the website. The same goes for any third-party antiviruses. If your Windows firewall is blocking a site or browser, refer to this guide to see how to unblock the program.
