In the modern world, conference calls are a crucial aspect of daily life, overcoming distance as a barrier. Whether it’s a business person working with a global team or a student chatting with friends scattered across the globe, the ability to connect with multiple people simultaneously is now essential.
In this article, we have discussed what is a conference call and a step-by-step guide to doing a conference call on Android.
What is a Conference call?
A conference call happens when three or more people talk on the phone together. Many mobile devices can handle up to five or six participants at once, but there are paid and free options available that can accommodate even more people.
The main reason for a conference call is to let people hold a meeting when they are in different places or time zones. Companies find conference calls useful, especially when they have remote or hybrid work setups, as employees may be working from various locations.

However, if you need to do conference calls for work, there are specific apps designed for businesses. These apps make conference calls easy and come with work-related features to help you in your professional tasks. Some popular conference call apps for Android include Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Skype.
