Co-hosts on Zoom
Before we get into how you can make someone a co-host on Zoom, let’s quickly talk about another very similar option — alternate hosts.
When scheduling a meeting, a host can desginate another licensed user on the same account as the alternate host. This host can start the meeting on the host’s behalf but can’t change the original limitations set by the host.

A co-host on the other hand is someone appointed mid-meeting where the host can just elevate a regular meeting member’s privileges to host and let them control the managerial part of the meeting as well. Do keep in mind that you also need to have a Pro, Business, Education or an API Partner Zoom plan to be able to add co-hosts.
