Released in February 2003 by Innerloop Studios, IGI 2: Covert Strike is a sequel to a game ‘Project IGI’ where you play as David Jones, the elite agent and the one-man-army working for the Geotactical Intelligence Agency to halt World War III from nearing. As a hero- a highly capable and resourceful lone operative inserted deep into enemy territory against overwhelming odds, you put a stop to global terrorism, worldwide holocaust, and betrayal at the highest level.
The game comes with a great first-person shooter with a touch of stealth where you can activate more than 30 authentic weapons and a silent takedown gives a significant advantage. With the 19-mission campaign set in the actual world covering three continents, stretching from all-out base strikes to furtive surveillance and intruding, it brings forth the thefts and escapes in outdoor and indoor settings throughout the urban and rural surroundings.
Moreover, you can create your plan and find your way through the challenging campaign. To attract more audience then, the game supported both single and multiplayer campaigns to enjoy the story as well as challenge your friends.
