Does Apple Pay work at Wendy’s?
Since Apple Pay launched, Wendy’s and many other restaurant chains have started accepting Apple Pay and other cashless transactions. With the progression of digital payment and e-wallets, food chains have also developed their apps. Some apps show you a collection of eateries around you, like Postmates or Uber Eats.
Wendy’s does accept Apple Pay through their own app, available on App Store.
You can make select items from their menu and pay via Apple Pay. However, Wendy’s does not take Apple Pay through their website. It might also be a dicey situation at the restaurant outlet, so make sure you have their app. You can also use their app when ordering food from their drive-thru.
On their app, you will have to make an account, allowing you to participate in Wendy’s loyalty program. With every dollar spent, you can earn and redeem 10 points.
Additional charges
Apple Pay does not incur any additional charges outside of the main bill. It works in the same manner as debit or credit cards. There are no hidden fees or taxes that are not already mentioned in your bill.
