As the popularity of mobile banking and peer-to-peer payment apps continues to rise, more and more people are looking for fast, secure, and convenient ways to transfer money to friends, family, and businesses. Two of the most popular options in this space are Zelle and Chime.
In this article, we have discussed the compatibility between these two popular platforms and whether you can use them together or not.
Can I use Zelle with Chime?
The answer to this question is No. Unlike many traditional banks, Chime’s banking app doesn’t have integrated support for Zelle. Previously, users could add Chime’s debit card to the Zelle app, but this feature is no longer available for those attempting to do so.
While both Zelle and Chime offer peer-to-peer payment capabilities, the two platforms are not currently integrated with one another.

Use the Chime’s Pay Anyone feature
Pay Anyone is a popular and convenient money transfer feature offered by Chime, allowing users to send money to anyone regardless of whether they are Chime members or not. This feature is free, easy to use, and typically results in instant transfers. However, occasional delays may occur, and there is a monthly limit of either $2,000 or 15 transfers.
Chime users need not worry about sending money to someone who uses Zelle. Even though Chime’s banking app doesn’t have integrated support for Zelle, it offers a Pay Anyone feature that enables users to make instant money transfers to both Chime and non-Chime members.
To know how to send money through Chime’s Pay Anyone feature follow the steps below.
- Open the Chime app and tap on the Pay Anyone option.
- Enter their $ChimeSign or select the person from your contacts.
- Enter the amount you want to send and double-check all the details and then tap on Pay.
- When sending money to someone who doesn’t have a Chime account, they have a window of up to 14 days to receive the money.
