How to close your Lazpay account permanently?

Just remember, if you permanently delete your Lazypay account, you won’t be able to bring it back. So, it’s okay to leave your account inactive if you’re unsure. If you are sure then here are a few ways through which you can close your Lazypay account:

Email to Lazypay customer care

To close your Lazypay account, all you need to do is send an email. Just make sure you’re using the email address linked to your Lazypay account. Compose a new mail and write in the subject line; Request to Delete/Close Lazypay account. Include your account details and reason for closure, then send it to wecare@lazypay.in. You will receive a response with your request number.


Call the Lazypay customer care

To close your LazyPay account, you’ll have to call Lazypay customer service phone number 08069081111 using the phone number registered with them. Before you make the call, jot down all your account details on a notepad. These will come in handy during the closure process.

Once you’ve registered your complaint, your account will be deactivated within 4-5 days. If you haven’t received any confirmation regarding the closure, contact customer care again to inquire about the status of your request.


Contact PayU Finance support

LazyPay operates under PayU Finance, a widely recognized payment gateway in India. If you need assistance, you can reach out to PayU Finance Support via email at support@payu.in.


Contact RBI Ombudsman

If you’ve exhausted all other options without success, your last resort is to contact the RBI Ombudsman. Reach out to them, register your complaint, provide all the necessary details, and submit it. Afterwards, you’ll receive a tracking ID to monitor the progress of your complaint. You’ll also receive email notifications whenever there’s a response from the RBI.
