Pinterest is a platform for discovering and saving ideas and a place for communication through its messaging feature. However, managing these conversations occasionally requires tidying up or deleting messages.

Unfortunately, permanently deleting messages on Pinterest is no longer an option. Pinterest has completely removed the feature that allows users to delete messages. Currently, the only available action is to hide the entire message conversation from your inbox or block the user.

How to hide a conversation on Pinterest?

  • Open the Pinterest app on your phone, tap on the Chat icon, tap on the Inbox option at the top and then open the chat you want to hide.
  • In the chat, tap on the Triple dot icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  • In the menu, tap on the Hide Conversation option.

Can You Unsend a Message on Pinterest?

Unfortunately, unsending messages on Pinterest is not currently possible. Unlike other platforms like Facebook or Gmail, Pinterest doesn’t offer an unsend message feature.

Once you hit send, the message is delivered to the recipient instantly and cannot be retracted.


How to block a user on Pinterest?

Blocking someone on Pinterest is a way to prevent them from interacting with you or your content on the platform. Here are the steps to block someone on Pinterest:
