Snapchat is one of the most popular internet messaging apps in the world, primarily because of its privacy focussed features such as auto-deleting messages and screenshot notifications. That said, the latest addition to Snapchat is its AI chatbot called My AI. This is powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT and was previously only available to Snapchat+ subscribers.

Removing My AI from Snapchat list
Unfortunately, while Snapchat may have let you access its AI without getting a Snapchat+ subscription, you can’t get rid of it without one. You see, the Clear Chat option that deletes your chat with anyone and removes them from your message list (unless you message them again), is the same process that you use to unpin the Snapchat AI, but in this case, that option is only available if you’re a Snapchat+ subscriber.
So if you have a Snapchat+ subscription, follow these steps to get rid of My AI.
- Open Snapchat and tap the chat icon in the bottom left.
- Tap and hold the My AI conversation until a menu appears.
- Tap Chat Settings.
- Tap Clear from Chat Feed.
After this, your conversation with the Snapchat AI will be cleared and it’ll be unpinned from your chat feed.
