Chromebooks are seen as very minimalistic and portable in nature. If you have a Chromebook, you can carry your work anywhere easily in a tote bag due to its small size and thus, mass. Similarly, to account for a small size a Chromebook has less space and uses shortcuts to provide most functions. One such function is the ability to right-click on a Chromebook.

In this article, we will discuss how to right-click on a Chromebook using two methods, one through settings and the other through a keyboard shortcut.

Step 3: You can switch on the toggle in front of Enable tap-to-click.

Similarly, you can enable other settings according to your preferences. You can enable tap dragging, touchpad acceleration, and reverse scrolling. You can also increase or decrease the touchpad speed accordingly.

By altering touchpad settings, you can click or change your scrolling direction preference, swiping up to go up or swiping up to go down.

Tap to click

Now, delicately tap your touchpad with two fingers — with this method, you can right-click on your Chromebook to open up the right-click menu options anytime you want.

Keyboard shortcut
