Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms of our time. There are a lot of features that contribute to this popularity, and the ability to share our lives with our friends and family at the tap of a button sure is good to have.

When scrolling on our endless feeds, we tend to like many posts. It is, after all, a matter of two quick taps. In this article, we’re looking at how you can see the posts you’ve liked on Instagram.

How to see what posts you’ve liked?

While Instagram is available on both smartphones and PCs (through the Instagram website), you can only see previously liked posts on the Instagram app.

Here’s how you can see what posts you’ve liked.

  • Open Instagram and head over to your profile by tapping the profile image icon in the bottom right.
  • Tap the hamburger menu icon in the top right.
  • Tap Your activity.
  • Tap Interactions.
  • Tap Likes.

Here you’ll be able to see all the posts, including videos and reels that you’ve liked in the past, sorted from newest to oldest. You can further narrow this down by using different sorting options or specifying a start and end date.

You can also track other aspects of your Instagram activity, including comments, story replies, links visited and the overall time you’ve spent on the platform.

Can you see others’ liked posts on Instagram?

As tempting as that might be, you can’t do that anymore. Instagram used to have the Following tab that showed the activity of people you follow, including what posts they liked and the people they follow, but Instagram removed the option in 2019.
