Snapchat is a social media platform according to its users and a camera company according to itself but needless to say, it’s one of the most popular photo-sharing social media platform, which efficiently keeps your friends updated on what you are up to by sending them snaps and putting several stories.
Stories are just pictures and videos you post on your account feed under stories sections that remain for 24 hours and disappear after that. You can see who all viewed your story and which friend of yours took a screenshot your story before it disappears. Snapchat is transparent regarding showing all this information.
The feature isn’t limited to Snapchat as soon after it was released here, Facebook-owned Instagram copied it and later Facebook did too.
It is very easy to find out who took a screenshot of your story. Here are the steps on how you can check it

Step 1: Click on the story icon the top left of the screen. Step 2: This will open your account details along with the stories section right at the centre of the screen. Select the story you want to check if you have posted multiple stories.
Step 3: Selecting the story will open it up, swipe up from the bottom to see the views. The viewers will have their names but the person who took a screenshot will have a white translucent triangle after his/her name. The list remains for 24 hours only, so better check it out before its gone.Earlier this month, Snapchat also introduced its sunglasses, Spectacles 3, which feature a dual HD camera on either side of the lenses that are designed to capture 3D snaps. Snapchat also introduced new 3D effects as well as augmented reality creative tools alongside Spectacles 3 to enhance the quality of snaps on the social media platform. They’re available for pre-order and are expected to ship in September-October this year.
