Is Flash Rewards a scam? Many of you must have seen ads claiming you can earn a handsome amount online with Flash Rewards.

This platform offers gift cards up to $1,000 for trying out new apps, games, services, or subscriptions. In this article, we will deal with how Flash Reward works and whether it is a scam.

What is Flash Rewards?

Flash Rewards is a platform that offers various gifts when you complete a task. For example, you can try out new apps and games, take surveys, sign up for credit score and debit card, etc.

How does Flash Rewards work?

  • You can join Flash Rewards after downloading the app from the Google Play Store and then sign in with your Google account.
  • After that, you must also take a quick survey to help the platform offer specialised tasks.
  • You can now complete the tasks and earn money when you are all set and done.
  • Once you finish the assigned tasks, you can claim the reward after verifying your identity.

The rewards may vary depending on your current level and the work involved. For example, if you are on level 1, you will get less than $10 on completing a deal. However, this quickly escalates when you reach higher levels.

To assess the legitimacy of Flash Rewards, we head to Trustpilot. We found that Flash Reward has a trust score of 4.1 out of 5, which is pretty impressive.

About 62% of reviewers voted for a 5-star rating, while 16% voted for a 1-star rating.

Now, we headed to the comments and queries. As expected, most of them were in favour of Flash Rewards. However, when we checked some 1-star comments, we found that:

  • People have not received their rewards after completing the tasks.
  • People have trouble cancelling the subscription or getting a refund.
  • After signing up for the deals, people have been getting spam emails and calls.
  • Some people have trouble navigating the platform.

All this points to a scam in process.

Next, we head to Scamadvisor, another trusted website dealing with online scams. Scamadvisor warns the user to stay away from such scams. Here are the reasons that they give in support of their statement:

  • The safety of your data is at risk.
  • The same website opens from multiple URL links.
  • Users never receive any payments.
  • Many services on the platform ask for a subscription fee.

After considering all the proofs available online, we can say there is some scam element in the Flash Rewards programme. We advise you to refrain from using such apps as not only your financial well-being but also your personal and mental well-being can be at risk.
