Why isn’t the NFL app working for you?
There are several reasons why the app might not work on your device. Common factors include:
- Outdated app version
- Internet connectivity issues
- Active VPNs or Proxies
- Server outage over at NFL.
How to fix the NFL app?
Here are five fixes you can try out.
Check your internet
When an internet-based app doesn’t work properly, you should first check if you’re connected to the internet. If you’re on mobile data, check to see if it’s enabled and that you have good network coverage. Alternatively, you can also try switching to mobile data from WiFi. Sometimes the error is triggered when users try to make payments over a WiFi network instead of mobile data.
Restart the app
Another quick fix that can get the NFL app back up and running is to simply force close the app and restart it again. Regardless of whether you’re on Android, iOS or any other platform, restarting can get rid of temporary files that may be hampering the app’s functionality.
Check if you’re using the right app
Next up, check to see if you’re using the right app. If you’re using the NFL Game Pass Domestic app and you downloaded it outside of the officially supported countries or territories, the app might not work for you. In such cases, you need to download the NFL Game Pass International app.
Clear the cache
Clearing the app’s cache can eliminate any corrupt files or data that might interfere with the app’s functionality.
- Tap on Apps and notifications.
- Tap on Show all apps and find Instagram from the list. If you’ve recently used NFL, it’ll show up in the recent apps as well.
- Tap on the NFL app.
- Then tap on Storage & Cache.
- Then tap on the Clear Cache button.
This should resolve the problem.
Reinstall the app
If clearing the cache doesn’t work, you can also try to uninstall the app from your phone and remove any residual data that might be left behind. Once done, reinstall the app again from the respective app store. You can check the latest NFL app versions here.
