Garena’s Free Fire is one of the best PUBG Mobile alternatives that you can get your hands on at the moment. Ever since PUBG Mobile got banned in some countries, including India, a country which had a pretty significant and a very dedicated player base, Free Fire has seen a surge in popularity. 

The game revolves around the battle royale genre. Each match is around 10-15 minutes long and has up to 50 players fighting it out to be the last man standing. 

The matches are very well-paced and players can choose from a host of different weapons suited for different types of combat styles. There are also a bunch of vehicles and playable characters to choose from. 

The game also features a load of in-game customisation items that players can use to customise their characters, weapons and other items, However, these items cost diamonds, Free Fire’s in-game currency that players have to spend real money to buy.

However, there are ways you can get around this and can get at least some items for free. Using redeem codes given away by Garena themselves, players can avail items to customise their characters. 

Each redeem code is about 12 alphanumeric characters long and unlocks random items for the player availing them. In this article, we’re going to talk about how you can use redeem codes in Free Fire.

Using redeem codes in Free Fire

Generally, players get these redeem codes during specific events. Keep in mind that these codes are time-limited and can only be redeemed a set number of times. So if you end up with a code that has expired, or has already been used enough times, you won’t be able to use it to any benefits.

Step  1: Head over to Garena’s redemption centre website and login with the same method you did in the game. For example, since I created my game account with Facebook, I’ll continue with that.

Step 2: The game will then ask you for your redeem code. You can make sure that your account is the active one by checking your nickname and region.

Once you’ve entered your code, click on Confirm. 

Step 3: Head into the Vault section of your game to see what rewards you’ve got.
