Facebook is one of the most, and probably the only surviving social media platforms that gained popularity in the 2000s, where you can share posts with your friends and like and comment on their posts too.

Creating an account on the Facebook mobile app

Install the Facebook mobile app on your device from your mobile store and launch the app. Then follow the steps below to create a Facebook account in Facebook mobile app.

Tap on the Create New Facebook account below the login box.
Then tap on the Next button.
On the next screen, fill your first and last name.
Tap on the Next button at the bottom of the box.
Facebook will ask about your age, select it from the bar and then tap on the Next button at the bottom of the box.
Continue following the steps below.

On the next screen, tap on the Checkbox beside your gender and tap on the Next button below the box.
Then on the next screen, if you want to login from a phone number then fill your number in the box.
Then tap on the Next button and if you want to create your account through your email. Then tap on the Sign up with email address option at the bottom of the screen and another same screen will open in which you have to enter your email address.
On the next screen, type in the password you want to set for your Facebook account and then tap on the Next button.
A confirmation screen will appear, tap on the Sign up button and if you want to sign up without uploading your contacts then tap on the Sign up without uploading my contacts option below the Sign up button.
Continue following the steps below.

Facebook app will create your account and sign you in and then send a code to your email id. It will send a code to your phone number or email address.
On the next screen, upload your profile picture by tapping on either of the option given at the bottom of the screen and if you don’t want to upload, then tap on the Skip icon at the top right corner of the screen.
Facebook will ask again you to upload contacts if you skipped it in the earlier step and if you want to upload your contacts then tap on the Upload contacts button otherwise tap on the Skip option at the top right corner of the screen.

Creating an account on Facebook website on PC

Open Facebook.com on any browser on your PC and follow the steps below to create a account on Facebook on PC.

Step 1: Click on the Create new account button below the login information box.

Step 2: On the next screen, Facebook will ask you to fill your first and last name, fill your mobile number or email address through which you want to sign up to Facebook after that make a password for your Facebook account and set your age and gender after you’re done adding the details, click on the Sign up button at the bottom of the box.

Step 3: Facebook will send a code to your email address if you have signed up through your email address and if you have signed up through phone number then you will get a code on your phone number, check for the code and fill in the box and click on Continue button.

Step 4: Your Facebook account will be created and your profile will open, you can upload your profile picture and search for other friends through their email id.
