OLX Group is one of the largest marketplaces networks, with over 20 brands catering to more than 350 million monthly users worldwide. One of these brands is OLX, has a presence in several cities of India, South Africa, Pakistan and Indonesia, where it helps millions of users buy and sell things like cars, mobile phones, as well as rent or purchase property, among other services.

The marketplace is available via web or on Android and iOS app stores. However, OLX isn’t the only such marketplace on offer, and if you’ve decided to shift to a new marketplace, it’s only normal to delete your data from this one. Here is a short step-by-step guide to help you remove your OLX account and its data too.

How to delete your OLX account on Android and iOS app?

You can use the steps mentioned below on the Android or iOS OLX app to delete your account.

Tap on My Account tab at the bottom-right of the display.
On the next page, tap on Settings.
Then tap on Deactivate account and delete my data option at the bottom of the next screen.
Tap on Deactivate.

Once these steps are completed, OLX will delete your account data from their servers and deactivate your account. This action is permanent, and you’ll need to sign up to use the service again.

Deleting your OLX account will also stop all your active advertisements.

How to delete your OLX account on PC or browser?

Login to your account on the OLX website either on a browser on your PC or smartphone (view as Desktop Site) and follow the steps mentioned below to delete your OLX account.

Step 1: Click on the downward-facing arrow, located to the left of the Sell button on the top-right of the website. Then from the dropdown menu, click on Settings.
