Delete Instagram email on the Instagram web
If you use the Instagram website more than the app and want to delete the email using the Instagram website then follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open your Instagram account and click on the Profile tab in the sidebar.
Step 2: Click on the Edit Profile button.
Step 3: Now, click on the Account Centre option.
Step 4: In Account Centre, click on the Personal details option in the sidebar and then on the right side click on the Contact info option.
Step 5: In the Contact information box, click on your email.
Step 6: Lastly, click on the Delete email address option.
The email will be deleted from Instagram.
Delete Instagram email on the Instagram mobile app
If you are a frequent user of the Instagram mobile app then follow the steps below to delete the Instagram email:
- Open the Instagram app and tap on the Profile icon at the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Tap on the Edit Profile button.
- Now, tap on the Professional information settings option at the bottom of the screen.
- It will take you to the Personal details page. On that screen tap on the Contact info option.

- Tap on the Profile icon at the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Tap on the Hamburger icon at the top right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the Account Center option.
- Now, tap Personal details option available in the Account settings section.
- Tap on the Contact info option.
- Now, tap on your email.
- Lastly, tap on the Delete email address option.
