Step 1: Click on the Me (with your profile picture) icon and then click on the Settings and Privacy option in the drop-down.

Step 2: On the settings page, click on the Data Privacy option available on the left side panel and then scroll down to the Messaging experience, under messaging experience, and click on the Read receipts and typing indicators option.

Step 3: Click on the Toggle button beside Delivery indicators to turn off/on your read receipts and typing indicators.
