Steam is by far one of the most popular PC gaming platforms ever made. The platform has hundreds of thousands of games and has multiple library management as well as social features to help gamers make the most out of their gaming experiences.
That said, it isn’t perfect and sometimes runs into errors with specific games. In this article, we’re taking a look at the “error/auth_req_error” problem in Enlisted on Steam. Note that these solutions might also work for similar errors in other games.

Check file integrity
If you have the game over on Steam, the platform has a built-in feature that verifies your game files and reinstalls any files that might be damaged. Follow these steps.
Step 1: Head over to your Steam Library, right-click on Enlisted and select Properties.

Step 2: Head over to the Local Files tab.

Step 3: Click on Verify integrity of local files… and let Steam do its thing.

Try running or downloading your game again to see if that fixed the error.
Check Steam servers
Another thing you should do is check whether or not the service itself is working or not. Steam is used by millions across the globe, and the occasional outage here and there isn’t anything surprising.
You can use this page to check Steam’s server status.
Disable VPN
If you’re using a VPN while gaming, some games can experience issues due to geo-restricted content policies. If you’re on a VPN, disable it and try running the game again. It should work just fine. The same goes for any firewalls you might have as well.
Power cycle your router
Restarting your router can fix a bunch of seemingly random issues with your network, which could, in turn, be causing problems with Steam. If you don’t have internet connectivity or an active connection, you’re going to get such issues on Steam.
So try restarting your router to rule out any network issues that may be causing problems.
Run Steam as an administrator
Running Steam with administrator privileges can help you get around any permission issues that might be hampering the platform’s functionality, especially regarding online connectivity. Try running Steam as an administrator and relaunching your game to see if that fixes the problem.
Contact Gaijin support
If nothing else works, reach out to Gaijin support on this link and have them resolve the issue for you. They’ll also let you know if the game itself is facing any issues for the time being and by when a fix will be issued if required.
