What causes this issue?

Various reasons are responsible for the Unexpected Client Behaviour in Roblox issue and they are mentioned below:

  • Compatibility issues.
  • Using a cheat software.
  • Interference by antivirus or firewall.
  • Issues with the app.

How to fix the issue?

Here are two methods to help you fix the Unexpected Client Behaviour in the Roblox issue:

Use Compatibility mode

Compatibility mode can help resolve issues related to hardware or software conflicts that might cause unexpected client behaviour. Here’s how to enable it:

Step 1: Find the file location of the Roblox player and right-click on the Robox player and then in the dropdown menu click on the Properties option.

Step 2: In properties, checkmark the box beside Run the program as an administrator and then under compatibility mode, checkmark the box beside Run the program in compatibility mode for, and select one of the options from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Now, click the Apply and then on the OK button.

Close any cheat software in use

If you’ve used cheat software to manipulate Roblox and encounter this error, it’s essential to immediately cease its use. Once you stop using cheat software, you should no longer encounter this error. Occasionally, even after closing the cheat software, its processes may persist in the background. To ensure this doesn’t happen, open Task Manager and locate any suspicious processes linked to the cheat software. Terminate these processes to prevent any further issues.

Disable the antivirus and allow Roblox player through the firewall

Your antivirus software might mistakenly flag the Roblox player as a malicious application, causing it to block access. To determine if this is the issue, try temporarily disabling your antivirus software and check if the Roblox player functions properly again. Additionally, ensure that your firewall settings permit the Roblox player to establish connections.

To allow Roblox player through the firewall, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Press the Windows + I  key to open Windows settings and click the Update & Security option.

Step 2: Click on Windows Security in the sidebar and then click on Firewall & network protection on the right side.

Step 3: A new window will open; click on the Allow an app through Firewall option at the bottom.

Step 4: In the allowed app’s window, click on the Change Settings button, this will allow you to edit the settings.

Step 5: Scroll down and find the Roblox player and checkmark boxes for both private and public beside the Roblox player, then click the OK button.

Reinstall the Roblox player

As a final option, reinstalling Roblox can be effective in achieving a fresh installation. This approach is valuable for removing any corrupted files or settings that could be triggering unexpected behaviour. To do this, uninstall both the Roblox Player app and the Roblox Player launcher if you are using both. Then, proceed to install your chosen client again to resume your Roblox adventures with improved stability.

By following these steps, you can troubleshoot and resolve unexpected client behaviour in Roblox, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience. Remember to stay updated with Roblox’s announcements and community for the latest news and tips on improving gameplay performance.
