WarnerMedia has announced HBO Max, a new direct-to-customer streaming service to compete with the likes of Netflix and Prime Video, which is scheduled to launch in Spring 2020 and in addition to its own original content, will hold exclusive rights to cult classics like Friends, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and more.

In addition to the aforementioned classics, HBO Max will own exclusive streaming rights to Pretty Little Liars, and highly anticipated series like Batwoman by DC Entertainment, and the Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene.
