  • Select Subscriptions.
  • Next, tap on Apple Music subscription.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the screen.

How to cancel Apple Music subscription Mac?

If you have a Mac, follow the steps given below to cancel the Apple Music subscription:

Step 1: On Mac, open the App Store.

Step 2: Select your name at the bottom. If you can’t find your name, select Sign in.

Step 3: Click on Account Settings at the top and sign in with your Apple ID.

Step 6: Scroll down Subscriptions and click Manage.

Step 8: Click on Edit next to the subscription.

Step 9: Click on Cancel Subscription.

How to cancel Apple Music subscription on Windows?

In Windows, follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Open iTunes and then head to Accounts > View My Account.

Step 2: Navigate to Settings and click on Manage next to Subscriptions.

Step 3: Click on Edit in front of Apple Music.

Step 4: Click on Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see this button, this means that you have already cancelled the subscription.


What happens when you cancel your Apple Music subscription?

When you cancel your Apple Music subscription, here’s what happens to your data:

  • You will forfeit any benefits that Apple Music service provides including more than 75 million songs, live radio, the ability to create and share playlists, and access to original content.
  • However, the playlists that you have purchased from other platforms such as iTunes won’t be lost.
  • The songs that you have downloaded will be gone. However, the songs that you have imported from iTunes can be downloaded again without additional costs.

You can always resume your Apple Music subscription anytime you want in the future.
