How to change your password through the Messenger app?

- Open the Messenger app and tap on the Hamburger (Triple horizontal lines) icon located at the top right corner of the screen.
- In the sidebar menu, tap on the Settings (Gear) icon located beside your Profile name.
- In Settings, scroll down to the bottom and then tap on the Accounts Center option.
- On the next page tap on the Password and Security option available under Account Settings.
- In the Password and Security settings, under Login and Recovery tap on the Change Password option.
- If you have linked your Instagram account with your Facebook account then it will ask you to choose the account you want to make changes to, Choose the account.
- On the next page, enter your current password and then enter the new password and confirm it by entering it again and then tap on the Change Password button located at the bottom of the screen.
- It will ask you to log out from other devices, you can either choose to log out by selecting the devices and tap on the Logout button or if you don’t want to log out from any device then just simply tap on the Stay logged in button.
