While Clash of Clans is incredibly fun to play by yourself, the ‘Clan’ part of the game’s title suggests that playing the game with a couple of friends or a ‘clan’ to so speak could have several advantages. Not only can you participate in leagues and clan wars, but you also get exclusive rewards which in turn can be used to purchase exclusive items in the game to help speed up research and development.
In this article, we’re talking about how you can get League Medals in Clash of Clans and everything else you need to know about them.

League Medals in Clash of Clans
Leagues in Clash of Clans are pretty much what they are in real life. Players sign up for leagues during a sign-up period that’s open once a season allowing them to participate in Clan League War matches. These matches not only offer regular rewards such as gold, elixir, dark elixir and gems but also League Medals which can then be redeemed for exclusive items in the game’s League Shop.
However, do keep in mind that there are several rules that apply to how you might earn League Medals in the game. Exactly how many League Medals you get depends on which league your clan is playing in and what’s your placement at the end of the season. Higher positions get more medals and vice-versa.
In order to get the full reward for your clan’s placement, you need to gain at least eight War Starts throughout the season. Players who don’t get any war stars only get 20% of the possible medal rewards, the same as players who were on the roster but aren’t placed on the war map on any of the battle days.
Additionally, the clan leader(s) can also decide to hand out bonus League Medals to clan members. Once again, the size of the bonus and how many people it can be given to depends on the clan’s league during war week. For every war your clan wins, an additional player can be awarded bonus medals.
Last but not least, if you are enrolled into the roster but leave the clan or are kicked out, you are still eligible for 20% to 100% of the placement league medals depending on war stars collected as well as any bonuses given by the clan leader.
