Discord is one of the most popular VoIP programs around at the moment. The app started off as a way to easily communicate during games for gamers but since then has expanded to serve a much wider user base.
That said, Discord isn’t perfect, and you’ll often run into users who just won’t sit well with you. In this article, we’re talking about nuking Discord servers, what it is, how it works and everything else you need to know.

Discord Nuking explained
As the name suggests, Discord nuking means deleting everything on the server and leaving it useless for the rest of the members. Keep in mind that it’s not allowed to do so and you’re essentially carrying out a DDoS attack against the server.
Now depending on your role and privileges in a server, there are two ways you can nuke one:
- With Admin privileges
- Without Admin privileges
With Admin privileges
If you have admin privileges on the Discord server you want to nuke, it simply becomes a matter of deleting the server.
Step 1: Open Discord and select the server you want to nuke. Click the down arrow next to the server name.
Step 2: From the dropdown menu, click on Server Settings.Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the list in the left-hand pane and select Delete Server. Step 4: On the pop-up prompt, enter your server name and then click on the Delete Server button. Keep in mind that if you’ve enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) on your Discord account, then you’ll also be asked to provide the code while before confirming server deletion.Without Admin privileges
This is where you’re going to have to get creative. Considering you don’t have administrator privileges on the server, there’s not much you can do in terms of kicking members or destroying the server.
That said you do have a few options:
- You can gain access to an admin’s account on the server.
- Add a nuking bot.
The first option does require you to gain access to someone else’s account which may or may not be completely legal based on your approach. The second requires adding a bot lick C-REAL or NukeBot to the server to nuke it automatically.
Should you nuke Discord servers?
No, you should not.
If you have a problem with a particular server, you should just leave it yourself. As an added measure, you can block the admins or any other users from such servers. Nuking servers or randomly banning people is in violation of Discord’s guidelines and can get you banned as well.
