Step 1: Open your LinkedIn account and click on the Start a post bar.

Step 2: Write your post. Your content should be informative, engaging, and visually appealing. Here are some tips for creating compelling LinkedIn posts:

  • Keep it concise: LinkedIn posts have a character limit of 3,000, but shorter posts (around 150-200 characters) tend to perform better.
  • Break into shorter sentences: Breaking your content into shorter, easy-to-read sentences makes it more digestible for your audience.
  • Use proper spacing: Ensure there is adequate spacing between paragraphs to improve readability.
  • Use visuals: Incorporate images, infographics, or videos to make your post more engaging. Posts with visuals get more engagement.
  • Write a strong headline: Your headline should grab attention and entice users to read more. Use keywords relevant to your content.
  • Add value: Provide actionable insights, share experiences, or offer solutions to common problems in your industry.
  • Include a Call-to-Action: Encourage interaction from your audience by posing questions, inviting comments, or suggesting shares. This prompts meaningful engagement and fosters a vibrant discussion around your post.

Step 3: If you want to add images, documents or polls then click on the Plus icon to expand more options.

Step 5: After editing your post click on the Post button to post it on LinkedIn.
