How to refresh the discord app on Windows?
There are two ways to refresh your discord on windows:
Refreshing the discord app
Whenever you face any minor issues like lagging, unresponsiveness or you face other problems, then refresh the discord by pressing the Ctrl+R keys simultaneously, it is the refresh key shortcut for windows. You will see a black screen after that, and then it will load a discord tip while refreshing the app wait for a few seconds, and it will be refreshed.
Refreshing the discord on the browser
Refreshing the discord on a browser is also simple; you can do it by using three different ways;
- You can press the F5 button from the function keys to refresh the browser tab or,
- You can press the Ctrl+R keys simultaneously to refresh the tab or,
- You can click on the refresh button in your browser to refresh the tab where the discord is opened.
Mac users can follow the same steps but as you know in mac books Ctrl key is the Command key, so press Command+R key simultaneously to refresh teh app and tab.

How to restart the discord app on Windows?
Follow these steps to restart the discord app on windows:
Step 1: Click on the Close (cross) button at the top right corner of the screen to close the app. This step is not much important because it just closes the app from the screen but the app still runs in the background.
Step 2: Click on the Up arrow button to open the system tray on the taskbar.
Step 3: In the system tray, find the discord app icon.
Step 4: Right-click on the Discord icon and in the drop-down menu click on the Quit Discord option to close the app properly, and then open the app again.
