How to stop automatic payment in Paytm?
There are three different methods to stop the automatic payment in Paytm, and they are explained below:
Deactivate auto bill payment
To deactivate auto bill payments in Paytm, follow the steps below:
- Open the Paytm app on your phone and tap on the Profile icon at the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap on UPI & Payments Settings.
- Scroll down and tap on the Automatic Payments & Subscriptions option.
- Tap on the Recharge & Bill Payments option.
- Select the autopay payment you want to disable, for example, the water bill.
- Tap on Cancel Automatic Payment available at the bottom.
- Choose a reason for the cancellation of auto payments and then tap on the Confirm button.
Deactivate automatic UPI payments
To disable the automatic UPI payments follow the steps below:
- Open the Paytm app on your phone and tap on the Profile icon at the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap on UPI & Payments Settings.
- Tap on the UPI Automatic Payments option.
- Tap on the autopay transaction that you want to cancel.
- Tap on View Details and then tap on Cancel Automatic Payment.
- Tap on the Disable button to confirm the cancellation.
Contact Paytm customer care
You can contact Paytm Customer Care at 0120-456-456 and ask them to stop automatic payments.
Find the customer care number in the Help & Support section of the Paytm app. Dial the number and follow the prompts to speak with a representative.
Let them know you want to deactivate automatic payments associated with your account. Provide your account details like mobile number and email when asked. Follow the instructions to verify your identity and confirm the cancellation request. The agent will assist you in verifying your account details and disabling any active automatic payments on your account.
