Reddit is a top-rated site where people share opinions, ideas and advice in different communities called subreddits. The site has quite a broad user base, and you can get answers to just about anything in a matter of minutes.
The thing with that is, you’re going to be blown away by notifications. Reddit also sends you an email for every notification you receive, which can mess up your inbox with unnecessary emails rather quickly.
In this article, we’re taking a look at how to stop Reddit from sending you emails.

Stop getting emails from Reddit using the Reddit app
Reddit also has a smartphone app for Android and iOS devices that lets you access your subreddits, messages and posts from a smartphone. However, once you’ve disabled email notifications from your PC, you don’t need to do the same on your phone.
Besides, the Reddit phone app doesn’t let users change email settings; you’re going to have to log into Reddit using a browser and follow the same steps mentioned above. You can, however, change what event on Reddit triggers a notification for you.
Here’s how you can change notification settings from the Reddit app.
- Open Reddit and tap on the notifications icon.
- Now, tap the three vertical dots in the top right.
- Tap Edit notification settings
- Set your notification preferences accordingly.
